The Dodge car brand introduced the all-new Dodge Charger multi-energy lineup, initiating a new era of automotive muscle. This next-gen Dodge Charger is the world’s first and only electric muscle car, retaining its title as the quickest and most powerful muscle car. The new multi-energy lineup comprises the all-electric 2024 Dodge Daytona Scat Pack, delivering 670 hp and takes 3.3 seconds to go from 0-60mph, while the electrified models include the 496 hp 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T.
Dodge’s engineering team engineered the all-new Dodge Charger with standard performance features such as PowerShot mode with an additional 40 horsepower for Charger Daytona models; Donut, Drag, Drift, and Track modes; the largest brake packaged available on a Dodge vehicle; 20-inch wheels with 305 front and 325 rear tires, Race Prep functions, dual-valve semi-active suspension, Line Lock, Launch Control and more.
The all-new Dodge Charger Daytona model is a next-generation muscle car, the first to ride on Stellantis’s STLA Large platform. It has an even weight distribution of 50/50, delivering impeccable ride and handling. A multi-link front suspension with an independent rear setup is standard on the Charger Daytona.
A 400V propulsion system that dispenses supercharged V-8 performance with zero tailpipe emissions and instant torque response powers the all-electric, all-wheel drive Dodge Daytona models. The system comprises a dual integrated charge module, a front and rear electric drive module (EDM), and a high-voltage battery pack. The front EDM improves range and efficiency using the front wheel end disconnect, while the rear EDM increases traction and performance with a mechanical limited-slip differential.
All models of the all-new electric Dodge Charger feature a modern muscular exterior, drawing inspiration from its predecessors. The Charger Daytona model features an exclusive Dodge patent-pending front R-wing, allowing airflow through a front pass-through area.
