Dodge launched a 22-minute video, “Dodge Demon 170: Devil in the Details, ” celebrating HEMI Day. The video captures the stunning showcase of the 1,025-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 in Las Vegas. The HEMI Day represents the numeric version of the date, 4/26, matching the displacement of the 426 cubic-inch HEMI V8 engines of 1964 to 1971 called “The Elephant.”
Dodge fans, enthusiasts, and owners experienced how the epic stunt was performed at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and listened to the Dodge executives, the Challenger SRT program’s manager, and the pilot who safely helicopter-dropped the Demon 170 on track.

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is the seventh and final “Last Call” special edition model from the Dodge brand. It pulled the maximum G-force acceleration of any production vehicle at 2.004 gs, reaches the 60-ft. mark in about 1.24 seconds, and makes 60 mph in 1.66 seconds.
The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is a well-built machine and a limited production vehicle. Although it resembles the previous model, it delivers extraordinary performance. A supercharged 6.2-liter V8 sits under the hood of the Demon 170.
